Primo - Your Broadband Specialists - Polio NZ Inc

Gazebo

Primo is 100% Taranaki owned and operated and is proud to support a growing number of local community groups and organisations.

We provide sponsored broadband connections for events (including free wi-fi hotspots), groups and organisations within Taranaki.

We consider sponsorship requests all year round.  Your request maybe considered for a full or partial sponsorship.  Our sponsorship generally covers Primo services only and not monetary support.

In reviewing applications, several criteria are considered; the organisation itself, such as its kaupapa and membership numbers including if any are Primo customers. We'd also like to know how Primo's support will make a difference, be acknowledged and shared.  A written agreement will set out the sponsorship arrangements and be reviewed regularly.

Primo can also share your event or organisations details on its website and we happily share posts on our Facebook or Instagram accounts promoting the organisation and its events.

If you’re interested in applying for sponsorship for your upcoming event or organisation, contact us via the form below or email us at supportinglocals@primo.nz

Our Primo signage, and our Gazebo are also available to groups and organisations for use, a great way to shelter from the sun or rain!  It is 3m x 3m and comes with sides.  Contact us for bookings.

Polio NZ Inc

Polio NZ Inc is an Incorporated Society and Registered Charity dedicated to seeking support for people who have had poliomyelitis. It does this through information sharing and where possible, assistance to polio society members and their families.

They maintain a Facebook page for polio survivors, their families, friends and supporters to share information and ideas and connect with other polio survivors.  They also maintain a website for information for polio survivors and health professionals who are treating polio survivors.

A YouTube Channel is used to publish talks from their conferences that are useful for polio survivors to manage the late effects of polio as they age, their families and health professionals. Managed by a voluntary Board who reside all over New Zealand they meet monthly by teleconference. A current focus is training health professionals in the late effects of polio and establishing specialist services for assessment and rehabilitation for survivors experiencing the late effects of polio as they age. Because of their various disabilities and geographic location, the internet makes it possible for them work.

PrimoWireless proudly provides an ultrafast broadband connection to the Polio NZ Board.

“We are extremely grateful to PrimoWireless for providing free internet connection and data for our Secretary who resides in New Plymouth”.
