“Primo’s sponsorship lies fully at the heart of our club’s functions.”

As with any modern organisation, operations are highly dependent on reliable access to the Internet.

Our golf game organisation is done online, our eftpos transactions are done online, and our telephone and alarm systems depend on internet access.

We appreciate their support for the enjoyment of our members and the Taranaki community.

“Primo provides Central Taranaki Blue Light with free Wi-Fi.”

We are so grateful to Primo, as it means the funds that are raised can go straight to programs and initiatives for the young people of the Central Taranaki community.

This enables the coordinator to work out of the Stratford Police Station with super fast broadband.

“Access to wireless internet is vital for our organization.”

We have 4 computer terminals used for research and promotion.

We have a scanning programme presently running to digitise over 10,000 glass plate and acetate negatives.

These we hope will be available in the future for family research and historical recording.

“Primo provide everyone who utilises the racecourse with fast and easy access to the Internet.”

Function coordinators and delegates utilise the UFB to access online resources and connect with remote attendees.

Race day attendees can access a wide range of online racing information and data, as well as their social media accounts for recording those wonderful race day memories.

The administration team at New Plymouth Raceway would not be able to as easily deliver the resources to our members and race day attendees without Primo.

We are so appreciative of their support, not only of us, but also the Taranaki region.

“Primo provides free wifi and phone services to our Group.”

We provide therapeutic and recreational horse riding sessions for people with disabilities.

We operate 4 days of each week of the school terms and in 2019 we provided rides for 107 North Taranaki young people. Our arena is at Barrett Domain where we have a long term lease from the NPDC. We have 3 qualified coaches and over 50 volunteers who carry out a wide and diverse range of roles.

The age of our riders range from younger than 5 to adult riders. We have 11 horses all specially trained and with temperaments suitable to the service.

As we receive no government funding and rely on grants, donations, fundraising events and modest session fees, sponsorship by Primo is a huge help in meeting our annual operating expenses.

“Volunteering New Plymouth is very grateful to Primo for this sponsorship.”

We have our phone through Primo as we want to support local.

We operate with funding from Supported Volunteering Funding (DIA) and as a Strategic Partner of New Plymouth District Council (NPDC). Both these funding streams are fixed price and fixed term of either 3 or 5 years. We have not applied for other Community Funding, so that other small organisations will benefit by receiving funding . We support the district “Not for Profit” – “For Purpose” sector by recruiting volunteers and matching newly recruited volunteers to Organisational vacancies.

Through this sponsorship we are able use our internet to support our work and reduce our overall costs so that we can use that money to support the community in other ways. While at work we have our cellphones linked to the network as we use these a lot to communicate with our people.

We also use it to receive and send the hundred of emails a week and also our promos on social media.
