New Plymouth Sportsfishing and Underwater Club

The New Plymouth Sportfishing & Underwater Club was formed in 1995 as a result of the merging of the New Plymouth Underwater and the Taranaki Cruising and Sportfishing Clubs. The club is based at the Habourview Clubrooms on Oceanview Parade, New Plymouth, New Zealand.

Boasting a family-friendly environment and whilst promoting fishing, boating and diving, the Club welcomes members who do not necessarily have an interest in them.

Clubrooms are now open every day from 3pm till late. The kitchen is open Thursday-Sunday from 5.30pm-8.30pm, and open for brunch and lunch Saturday and Sunday 8am to 2pm.

Thank you to Primo Broadband, we are able to have internet and phone lines without interruption. We can promote the club through social media and email out our newsletters and just the general day to day business that requires phone and internet. It is greatly appreciated.

North Taranaki Sport & Recreation Inc

North Taranaki Sport & Recreation is a not-for-profit charitable society based in Waitara, NZ. We care for our foundation members, supporting them to grow their clubs and capacity. Our society also manages the facilities at Clifton Park and the War Memorial Hall.

The vision of North Taranaki Sport & Recreation is to provide a collaborative environment that serves Waitara and its surrounding community, connecting our people and realising their potential so they can pursue their best lives and diverse interests.

Rotokare Scenic Reserve Trust

Having a totally reliable internet connection in the midst of Taranaki’s only fenced ecosanctuary is wonderful. Working inside a sanctuary is like being in another world. Being able to collaborate and do business with the ‘outside world’, means that we can be effective and efficient, ultimately resulting in gains for ecological restoration in Taranaki.

This year especially having reliable access has meant savings for our organisation and not being left out of meetings and decision making that we cannot attend in person. Being able to stay in contact with our community and ‘Friends of the Lake’ has been helpful to the whole Rotokare whanau. Staying connected this year has been more important than ever, and being able to share the progress and ecological wins has added joy to our work.

Rotokare Scenic Reserve Trust is a registered charity. Our mission is the highest level of ecological restoration at Rotokare Scenic Reserve. Primo’s generous sponsorship of our connection means that we are able to focus more of our funding on direct ecological restoration gains. Significant restoration work this year has included monitoring populations of rare and endangered bird populations – hihi, tieke, pateke, kiwi, titipounamu; progressing willow eradication in the wetlands; maintaining a pest-free sanctuary; researching additional flora and fauna species reintroductions to the sanctuary.

Stratford Mountain Club

Primo helps us by providing cameras on the mountain so everyone is able to see that there is snow on the Skifield and then they can
up and Ski.
We have had our internet with Primo for a number of years now and have found it very reliable to use for updating our website and Facebook page from the Mountain.
Our telephone also runs on the internet and is used for calling the Helicopter and or Ambulance if we have any accidents on the Skifield.

Primo have now offered us a free wifi hotspot which will not only be great for the Club but also for hikers passing by so that they are able to keep in touch with family and friends or if there is an emergency on the Mountain in our area they will have reliable access to get help.

Tutaki Youth Inc.

TET Stadium & Events Centre

Primo offers free WIFI to our event centre, stadium , board room and offices.

The free WIFI enables the centre to offer these services FREE to the community, customers, staff and volunteers.

New Plymouth Little Theatre

Primo helps us to keep the community entertained – enabling us to put on three fabulous productions per year as well as providing a venue for other community events.

South Taranaki Neighbourhood Support

Primo provides us with our internet connection, the crucial link to our 680 (and climbing) members throughout the South Taranaki District, creating safe, resilient and connected communities.

With information that we receive from the NZ Police we are able to send email alerts to members in neighbourhoods when criminal activity has occurred in their area and warnings of impending severe weather events. We also send out reminder emails to all members, at certain times of the year, to be vigilant with their home and business security and safety eg pre-Christmas, Gypsy Day, holidays.

Our internet connection also allows us to be effective with support should there be a natural disaster or local emergency.
